Raising Cane Pattern
A larger version of my basket named Cane Fields, start this double wall basket with your choice of color to weave a geometrically pleasing twill base. Use the dyed spokes to create the inside wall. Use the natural spokes on the outside wall, concentrating on shaping and keeping the two wall together. Learn paired three rod wale with a step up. Add an embellishment with Hamburg cane in a criss cross pattern. Finish the top with the same criss cross pattern of Hamburg cane as a rim filler and add a narrow handle.
