This patriotic double wall basket was woven in honor of our country turning 250 years old. Start the herringbone twill base in Cardinal Red and Natural. Use the Cardinal Red spokes to form an inside wall of red and white stripes. Use the natural spokes to form the outside wall. Techniques are given to help keep the two walls together and prepare the walls for rimming. On the outside wall learn triple twine with a step up and Rand weave (or diagonal weave) with specialty dyed weavers in Red, White and Blue.
