This beautiful basket starts with a round reed woven round base. After setting up the spokes, use your choice in dyed reed to learn Japanese weave. While weaving up the sides of the basket, learn four rod wale and double paired arrows as you learn to shape the basket with spoke placement and weaving tension. A simple braided border adorns the top of the basket.
