This basket features a closed bottom and a strong ‘D’ handle for carrying. Tiffany

Tiffany is woven using three different sizes of round reed. Following the step by step instructions, learn to weave this beautiful interwoven base. Learn triple twining up the sides of the basket with a simple to follow step up. The border is an easy one step braid. The handle is a fun wrap around technique that makes the handle stronger for carrying heavy loads.

Bullseye

This is a simple twill weave basket. The photos given in the pattern make the weaving easy and fun. The two colors woven in the side weaving give the basket dimension. Add a round notched handle for easy carrying. Lash the rim with waxed linen.

Quilted Memories

This beautiful framed ‘quilt’ is the first in my quilt series. It is made with black ash and a handmade barn wood picture frame. The quilt features seven different quilt blocks with sashing between each block. The pattern gives both written instructions and a graph. The emphasis in the pattern is to keep the quilt square to fit in the frame.

Quilting in the Southwest

This beautiful framed ‘quilt’ is the second in my quilt series. It is made with black ash and a handmade barn wood picture frame. The quilt features concho style blocks with arrows in southwest colors. The pattern gives both written instructions and a graph. The emphasis in the pattern is to keep the quilt square to fit in the frame.

Michigan Roadside

Learn an easy cat head base and learn chase weaving up the sides of the basket. Learn triple twine with an easy step up. Add a birch or maple strip in the center of the basket. Learn to size and insert a notched handle. A beautiful embellishment of gathered weeds, grasses, pods and nuts from the Michigan roadside complete the basket.
